Uncle Goose is a family business that has been passed down from one generation to the next. One aspect of their business that will never change is their quality craftsmanship, and their dedication to using sustainable, safe materials. Uncle Goose products are made entirely in the USA, and each block is handcrafted from Michigan basswood. Their block sets are built to be enjoyed for years to come, and passed down for generations as a family heirloom. Simply, they're a great investment.

FAQs:

How do I clean the blocks?
Not surprisingly, untreated wood and moisture don’t mix well. Water warps. You can clean your blocks lightly with a damp cloth and mild detergent, but avoid getting the embossed sides wet. Moisture is more likely to cling to the crevices, making them more susceptible to damage.

Is it OK to gnaw on the blocks?
Keeping the blocks out of baby's mouth is best. They aren’t teething toys. Babies put things in their mouths, so adults get concerned and ask if it’s safe. Rest easy: since Uncle Goose doesn’t put any sealer or coating on our blocks, Uncle Goose blocks are technically mouth-safe.

Are Uncle Goose blocks safe?
Uncle Goose Blocks are a timeless classic. Generations have thrived by playing with wood blocks. So, yeah, they’re safe.

If you’re concerned about the paint, don’t be. Uncle Goose buys their inks from an American manufacturer that doesn’t use heavy metals. To keep them honest,  the company tests every gallon of ink before they put it on their blocks. They're fanatic about quality and safety.

Check out Uncle Goose's CPSIA (Consumer Protection Safety Improvement Act) Certificates online. They have earned government safety certificates for every last one of their products.
